Goyo Aga loops are designed for powerful horses and, when combined with our Easy-Ride cannons, offer a lowering and rotating action on the poll to keep a horse round, high, and stretched. They are used with a curb chain to modulate pressure and create leverage. (sold separately)
Depending on the chosen setting, the intensity varies: reins attached at the top for a gentle action, in the middle loop for a firmer effect, or at the bottom for a powerful effect.
However, it is not recommended for horses that tend to overbend.

    - For horses that tend to come off the bit and open their mouth.
    - For horses with a lot of impulsion and spirit.
    - For horses that are a little heavy on the forehand and need to lift themselves.
It is strongly not recommended for horses that tend to overbend or evade the bit and thus adopt hyperflexion.

It is essential to adjust the curb chain so that it is not taut at rest: it should only come into play during action to regulate the leverage effect.

The choice of rein adjustment directly influences the intensity — the lower they are placed, the stronger the action will be — so it is important to adapt the position according to the horse's sensitivity and level, and your ability to manage your hand actions.

    Expert's point of view:

The Easy Ride format can be interesting for horses that are progressing in their training and for whom you might need to change bits as they advance. In this case, you only need to change the cheek pieces. For this bit, remember to equip yourself with a curb chain. Its fairly powerful leverage requires a precise and light hand to prevent the horse from tucking its chin excessively.
